Weekend work attracts generous penalty rates.Tasks for this role include facilitate contact arrangements, support children and their families during changeovers or supervised visits, provide a safe and secure environment for the children.Other tasks: Apply theoretical models of supportive human interaction, developmental stages of children, conflict resolution, and other relevant frameworks.Undertaking assessment and intake processes, including parent interviews, case planning and reviews.Organising safe and appropriate activities for children to maximise parent/child.Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions for parents and children accessing CCS.About YouTo be successful in this position, you willHave Bachelor degree in the social or behavioural sciences is an essential requirement and preferrable with a focus on child development.Have demonstrated experience working with children and their parents/carers and theoretical knowledge of the issues regarding child development, abuse and/or neglect.Have experience working with people in crisis and/or parents in conflict.Knowledge and ability to apply relevant legislation and regulations relating to family law and/or children’s contact issues is also required.Ability to work on weekend and evening shiftsPossession of, or willingness to obtain, a First Aid/CPR Certificate. We Can Offer YouAt RAQ, we believe in supporting our people both inside and outside the workplace. About the Role
